I used to get excited every time I discovered a new thing you can do online. Quite often I would find another type of product for sale online that I wasn’t previously aware of such as groceries and movie rental services and I would consider these changes interesting and cool. The truth is though, that I’ve kind of come to take it for granted that just about everything can be purchased online and even if I haven’t seen it before I can easily find it online. I now know that anything I am looking for can be found on sites such as Amazon, eBay and more.
But the real challenge still remains when I DON’T know exactly what I’m looking for. Whenever I have to shop for gifts I used to actually prefer shopping in a physical store since it was easier for me to find an idea. Online sites just didn’t provide this kind of idea providing experience and would only work for me if I knew exactly what I wanted.

DesignerGifts.com took a different approach to organizing their site. Rather that the normal category view, they organized their site based on gift ideas. Categories include Gifts for Kids, Gifts for Teens, Gifts ideas for Men and more. Each such category offers great unique ideas for relatively cheep gifts to match each budget.
I would have never thought of some of these ideas, but they do make great gifts. Some of the ideas the site promotes are digital picture frames, picnic baskets and personalized items.
