I grew up in a small neighborhood and actually went to a high school that was just four blocks from my house. The truth is that I really enjoyed this proximity and took advantage of it quite often (I would cut class a lot and it wasn’t uncommon for me to “visit” home during the day for a break) but I do feel I missed out on some experiences my friends who went to boarding schools had.
