I still haven’t decided about who to renew my car insurance with. I told you last week about how my agent raised my price this year by almost 20% and how I found on the internet a price even lower than what I paid last year. Now, so far my insurance agent was miraculously able to compete with this offer (why couldn’t he just quote me his lowest price to begin with…?), but I have lost a lot of faith in him after the whole story.
Meanwhile I learned of a great site which can help. I filled out my information at insurance.com and am now receiving actual quotes from a whole bunch of car insurance companies. It’s pretty cool since I feel like they are fighting over my business and it is up to me to decide who I will grant my (small) business to. I still have a few more and am waiting for a few more quotes before I decide.
