What's Up with The New York Times

What’s happening with the New York Times lately? They seem to have forgotten their journalistic duty is to provide a story and not use their paper as a platform for personal attacks. In a story published on Aug 22 by Saul Hansell, the author chose to use a current event (a planned IPO) as a platform for bashing one of the company’s owners for a previous crime. This had nothing to do with the main topic of the article, yet it seemed to have taken center stage in what could only indicate a personal vendetta. The party on the receiving end, Armand Rousso has issued his own response to this article providing many inaccuracies as well as his well written point on how the author is basically taking a stance which does not give a person who committed a crime in the past a second chance.
