There are about five (5) countries in the continent that actively participate in the beer festival while incorporating their own unique culture in it. Hong Kong celebrates it through organized activities in major clubs, hotels and restaurants. Vietnam has celebrated it since 1992. The Philippines celebrates it throughout the archipelago through concerts and parties sponsored by the top beer companies in the country.
Australia holds many small celebrations of Oktoberfest, mainly supported by the local university populations but has since included local restaurants and pubs. The most popular festival in New Zealand is the beer festival in Auckland.
