The fax machine has been a huge part of the business world for many years, even after the Internet took over. Individuals still relied greatly on sending documents instantly via fax. Some resorted to scanning and then sending by email, while others continued to use the fax machine. However, now that most computers have a built in fax machines and can be used not only to send, but to receive faxes as well, there really won’t be much of a need for a fax machine. By the end of 2008, the fax machine will most probably become obsolete.
